I am honored to be included in 2017 Silicon Valley Game Changes, alongside 20 inspiring thought leaders. We were each asked to write an essay, the titles of which are listed below, and which can be read, here.
For my piece, I focus on how communication is evolving from long, crafted articles and blogs to short, in-the-moment videos and snaps. The demand for authenticity is fueling the evolution. As we look forward, corporations will need to embrace live-stream video to meet the expectations of their customers, who increasingly require immediacy as well as transparency. Teens, the true early adopters, are already mastering this form of communication, a sign of where we’re headed. Think about Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat – when it comes to social platforms, teens lead the way. As a new live broadcaster and the host #BizStartLive, I can assure you, it doesn’t get any more raw and real than LIVE.
